We base this attribution on the same medium, style, subject, complexity, and signature as used by Ross. Medium: Watercolor of paper. Condition: Very good appearance with some aging in the paper and a torn off corner upper right. Edition: Unique original work of art. Signature: Lower right. Size: 23.5 x 17.5 in. New Frame: 36 x 28 in. Provenance: From the private estate of a long time art collector. According to the consignor this fine painting has not undergone an expert authentication certification process, hence is being sold as manner of the artist.
Robert Norman Ross was an American painter and art instructor who created and hosted The Joy of Painting, an instructional television program that aired from 1983 to 1994 on PBS in the United States, CBC in Canada, and similar channels in Latin America, Europe and elsewhere.
